Katasan Devi Temple (Sirmor)

कटासन देवी मंदिर-नाहन से 19 किलोमीटर दूर कटासन देवी का मंदिर है। सिरमौर के राजा ने कटासन में भगवती का यह मंदिर गुलाम कदीर रोहिला को युद्ध में पराजित करने की ख़ुशी में बनवाया था। मंदिर के भीतर भगवान परशुराम और देवी की प्रतिमाएं हैं। मंदिर 18 वीं- 19वीं शताब्दी का माना जाता है।

History
The Katasan Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. One of the main reasons of its popularity is its calm, peaceful and serene locales that offer beautiful views of the Paonta Sahib region. It is believed to be the same place where the army of Sirmaur defeated the raiding armies of Ghulam Qadir Khan Rohiolla. This ancient temple reflects the rich architecture of Sirmaur culture and offer visitors one of the most peaceful and divine experience. The Katasan Devi Temple can be reached by bus from Paonta Sahib, which is only 30 kms from the temple.
